Ms.Ruiz   Language Arts | Literature| Science/Social Hello first grade families! I was happy to hear what a fun and restful weekend student had during our class circle time. We continue our work in class on the this unit: “America the Beautiful” Here is a look ahead in our class: Language Arts- -Reading fluency. -Present characteristics on Opinion Writing Math- In chapter 4 Subtracting using ten frames. Social Sc.- - Read about Abraham Lincoln and George Washington. -Review Time line find Spanish conquistadors arrival to the New World. Story of Virginia. Virtue- Friendship- Weekly diplomas handed out Wednesdays to students who portray this virtue Thank you for believing in us, Ms.Ruiz
